The Punaluu black sand beach located in Hawaii which is between Pahala and Naalehu district. The characteristic of the beach is its black sand that made of the basalt that formed by lavas. Then, it flows into the ocean and get explodes when it reaches the ocean and cools few many years ago in the past. The volcano in this location is belong of the Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Park and the famous central creature that we will often see are the turtles which the species in the area is part of the endangered species.

There is two most sacred turtle in this location that are Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle (Honu), and the other one is Hawaiian Hawksbill Turtle that also often called as Honu ea.
The Punaluu black sand beach usually called as critical habitat that serve a severe habitat of the rarest creature and beside turtle, there is also the mammals. The Hawaiian Monk Seal is a species that part of native people stated as endemic mammals. The total population that this place has around 1,500 to 1,200 individuals. The home to this creature located on the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.
